Anandpur: Tension prevailed in Dodagan under Ghasipura police limits in Keonjhar district last night after a youth sustained critical injury in arrow firing by miscreants.
The victim has been identified as Muna Behera, of the same village.
As per the report, a group of attackers reached at Muna’s house at around 10 am in the night. After initial verbal abuse they fired an arrow targeting the victim which struck him in the back.
Family members rushed Muna to Anandpur Sub-Divisional Hospital immediately for treatment after the attackers left the spot. He was later shifted to SCB Medical in Cuttack for better treatment.
While police have started investigation into the incident, they suspect it to be fallout of past enmity.
