Rairakhol: Youth critical after being attacked with axe. A youth became critical after being attacked with an axe in Sambalpur district of Odisha on Friday morning. The incident took place in the Bramhanipali village under Kisinda Police limits in Naktideul Block. Reason of the attack is said to be past enmity.
The victim has been identified as Hari Kansaria of Panigrahipali under Kisinda Police limits.
As per reports, Hari Kansaria of Panigrahipali was working as a brick maker in Bramhanipali for the last few days. Few days back a verbal spat had erupted between Hari Kansaria and Shani Shabar on the allegation that the former has a love relationship with the wife of the later.
Today Shani Shabar attacked Hari Kansaria with an axe when he was on his way to his work area. Accordingly, Hari sustained critical injury and many portion of his intestine reportedly are out of the body.
The locals rescued the youth in a critical condition and admitted to VIMSAR in Burla.
After getting information, Kisinda Police reached the spot and detained the attacker. Further investigation of the case is underway.
