Nayagarh: A youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at Ranapokhari level crossing near Badapandusar area under Itamati police limits here on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Pranakrushna Behera (36) of Anlagarh village.
Pranakrushna jumped before the Bolagarh-Nayagarh passenger train last night a few hours after he left his home. His body was spotted by some locals this morning.
Itamati police have reached the spot and seized the dead body of the victim. A case of unnatural death has been registered in the incident.
