Bhubaneswar: A youth reportedly beat up an auto driver over the cancellation of an online booking in Indradhanu Market of Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
A girl reportedly booked an auto-rickshaw to go to Capital Hospital from the Indradhanu Market in the Nayapalli area. However, the auto driver allegedly asked her to cancel the online booking as she stopped the vehicle and delayed it purposefully on the way.
The girl’s male friend joined her and had a heated argument with the auto driver over the cancellation of the online booking. It turned ugly after the due physically attacked the driver.
Later, the driver filed a complaint at the Nayapali Police Station, based on which cops detained the girl and her male friend for interrogation.
