Boudh: In a gruesome incident, a youth was beaten to death at Gulugulapadar village under Manamunda police limits in the district on Wednesday.
Though the exact cause of the youth’s brutal killing is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he has been murdered over a love triangle issue.
The deceased has been identified as Santanu Kanhar. His body was recovered by some locals who informed Manamunda police about the matter.
Meanwhile, police have detained Santanu’s rumored girlfriend, whom another boy was also loving, for interrogation. Santanu’s body has also been sent to the hospital for postmortem.
