Ganjam: A youth has been allegedly beaten to death in Humma Keuta Sahi under Rambha police limits in Ganjam district of Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Dandapani Biswal.
According to reports, Dandapani told his family on Sunday night that he was going to defecate but did not return home. However, his body was recovered from Keuta Sahi today in the morning. Wooden plank and bricks were also found near the body.
On getting the information, the additional Superintendent of Police Thakur Prasad Patra arrived at the scene along with the cops of Rambha police station and initiated a probe.
The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained.
