Yet Another Boy Drowns In Kuakhai River In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a saddening incident, another boy died on Sunday after drowning in Kuakhai River on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The deceased youth has been identified as Nikhil Jena of Bhubaneswar.

According to sources, Jena, who is said to be the resident of Mausima Chowk area of the State Capital City, had gone to bath in the river near Bankuala under Balianta police limits along with his relatives including his father. However, he slipped into the deep water of the river and drowned.

The two persons, who were also bathing along with Jena, tried their best to save him. However, they failed in their attempt following which Jena drowned and died.

Earlier, yesterday a minor boy had drowned while taking bath in the same location.
