Yet again, Air Asia flight makes emergency landing at Bhubaneswar Airport

Bhubaneswar: Yet again an Air Asia flight on Sunday made an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar-based Biju Patnaik International Airport due to a medical emergency.

Reportedly, one of the passengers identified as Taimur Ali Khan falls sick mid-air while it was en-route from Bangalore to Kolkata. The sick passenger was soon rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment with the coordination with ATC, ATM & medical staff after flight number 2472 safely landed at the airport.

However, the doctors of Capital Hospital declared him brought dead.

It is to be noted that earlier on January 9, a Chennai-bound flight had also made an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar-based Biju Patnaik International Airport after a 40-year-old passenger named Basant Kumar Paswan was unable to breathe. Later the next day, he lost his life while being treated at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
