Bhubaneswar: Power restoration drive is underway in many areas of Bhubaneswar as authorities are working to ensure complete power restoration in the capital city by Sunday evening.
Out of the 2,32,000 electricity consumers in Bhubaneswar, 1,01,000 have already got back power supply.
The power restoration drive at Barang and Kanan Vihar is taking time because of the large scale infrastructural damage and uprooting of trees in these areas.
Coming to silver city Cuttack, out of the 2,37,000 electricity consumers, 1,57,000 have got back electricity supply. Power supply will be completely restored in the city by Sunday evening.
Similarly, electricity will be restored in temple town Puri by May 15.
