Woman who donated properties worth more than Rs 1 Cr to rickshaw puller joins BJD

Cuttack: The 63-year-old woman in Odisha’s Cuttack City who has set an example for the society by donating her entire property worth over Rs 1 crore to a rickshaw puller joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

The lady who has been identified as Minati Patnaik of the Sutahata area reportedly joined the state ruling party after being influenced by the ideology of BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Minati joined the conch party in the presence of Jajpur MLA and the party’s Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das.

Odisha-Mo Parivar-Jeevan Bindu Cuttack (City) Coordinator Ranjan Biswal was present during her joining program.

It is to be noted here that Minati had on November 13, 2021 donated properties including her three-story house in Sutahat area of Cuttack City, gold ornaments and all other assets to rickshaw puller Budha Samal. She executed a Will in favour of Budha.
