Bhadrak: A woman and her son sustained critical injuries in a fire that broke out in their house in Rameswarpur village under Dhamnagar police limits of Bhadrak district.
Sources say, woman and her son sustained critical burn injuries while they were rescuing cattle from the cowshed that had accidentally caught fire, injuring the duo.
The neighbours who heard their cry for help, rushed to the spot and rescued them.
The victims have been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack for treatment. Their health condition is stated to be critical.
