Keonjhar: A woman and her mother-in-law sustained critical injuries after a water tank collapsed on them in Balibandha village under Patana block in Keonjhar district on Monday.
The victims have been identified as Shakuntala Bindhani and her mother-in-law Kamala Bindhani of the same locality.
As per the report, building construction was underway at Shakuntala’s house in the village in the morning when the mishap took place. A water-filled cement tank collapsed and hit the victim duo in which Kamala fractured her leg and Shakuntala sustained multiple injuries.
The injured duo was rushed to Patana Community Health Centre (CHC) in a 108 ambulance post the mishap for treatment.
