Balangir: Hanging dead body of an unidentified woman has been recovered near Balangir Railway Station this morning.
As per the report, some commuters came across the body early in the morning while it was hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances. They immediately called up Government Railway Police (GRP) to report the matter.
Railway Police seized the body for autopsy and launched an investigation into the incident.
While the identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, locals are suspecting that somebody might have killed her and later hanged the body from the tree to mislead police.
