Anandpur: A woman got critically burnt after attempting self-immolation over family feud in Dudugan village under Anandpur police limits in Keonjhar district last night.
The victim has been identified as Sebati Behera, wife of Muna Behera of the same locality.
As per the report, a verbal duel erupted between Sebati and her husband late last night. Losing cool over the incident the victim doused her with kerosene and set ablaze.
Family members rescued Sebati with 70 per cent burns and rushed to Anandpur Sub-Divisional hospital and then shifted to SCB Medical for better treatment.
Police are investigating into the suicide attempt.
