Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a woman has been allegedly beaten to death by his husband in Bhubaneswar. The incident took place in Santala slum of Laxmipur in Maitri Vihar.
The deceased has been identified as Mamina Purty of Maitri Vihar and the accused has been identified as Rangalal Purty.
As per locals, Ranagalal was in an inebriated state when he killed his wife.
On being informed, the local police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy. According to preliminary investigation the accused killed his wife over some family dispute.
Rangalal has been detained by the police for further questioning.
