Jajpur: A woman was arrested and sent to Ragadi Sub-Jail for killing her father-in-law at Ranpal village under Panikoili police station limits of the district last week.
The accused has been identified as Rupa Hati. She was sent to the jail after the court rejected her bail plea.
Rupa went absconding after killing her father-in-law Pabana Hati following a family dispute on August 16. However, Panikoili police, which was probing the case, arrested her today from Dhenkanal.
Rupa was produced before the local court after her arrest. Later, the court rejected her bail petition and sent her to Ragadi Sub-Jail.
