With dreams to do something great in life, 5 transgenders write +3 exams in Odisha

Jajpur: With an aim to join the mainstream of the society and do something great in life, as many as five transgenders wrote their Plus Three exams in Odisha’s Jajpur district today.

The five transgenders wrote their first-semester exam of graduation at Angal-based Lachhaman Balajew (Degree) College. They were attending online classes after their admission and now they are writing the offline exam along with other students.

While expressing their happiness and excitement post writing the exam, they stated that educational eligibility is necessary to change people’s mindset about the transgender community.

“We are extremely happy that we wrote the first-semester exam of Plus Three today. The authorities and students of the college were very cooperative and helpful. As education increases an individual’s chances for better career opportunities, everyone in the society should be educated,” said Kajol, a transgender, who appeared for the exam.
