Wild Tusker Attacks In Khordha District Of Odisha, One Dead

Khordha: A woman has been trampled to death by a wild tusker in Ramchandi village under Dhaulimuhan panchayat of Khordha district in Odisha on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Manjulata Behera.

According to reports, Manjulata had gone to bathroom early in the morning in order to finish her daily chores when suddenly a female elephant attacked and trampled her to death on the spot. Thereafter the jumbo attacked three other people in a series.

The villagers helped them to rescue by chasing away the elephant and rushed the three injured to District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for immediate medical assistance.
