Angul: The half-charred body of a widow was found by the local police near the boundary of NTPC plant under mysterious circumstances today.
The NTPC Plant police rushed to the spot after getting information from some locals and recovered the half burnt body of a woman and identified her as Sabita Nayak.
Police are yet to know either the woman has committed suicide or she has been murdered.
Sources at the police said that Sabita, a native of Rangabeda village, had married to a man in Kiajhar village in 2010. However, she was staying with her parents after the death of her husband in 2011.
Meanwhile, police has sent her body to the hospital for autopsy. They are also interrogating her relatives over the matter.
