Bhubaneswar: Tension erupted at a city hotel last night after a West Bengal actress brought mental harassment allegation against the director of the upcoming Odia movie ‘Tu Mo Suna Chadhei’ during its audio release. The video of the incident later went viral on social media.
Identified as Elsa Ghosh the actress went to the podium to snatch away the mike from the director Dilip Panda and accused him of torturing her mentally, in front of the media. However, she was immediately protested by Panda and his supporters which sparked up a huge uproar at the spot.
Later, as Ghosh’s father joined her the incident took an ugly turn and a minor scuffle erupted between the two sides.
Amidst the brawl, the West Bengal actress was heard shouting at the director and screaming, “You have brought an actress from West Bengal and harassing her mentally. How dare you to touch me.”
The girl was seen repeatedly shouting ‘he is a gunda’ for the director before the media also while the hotel officials prevented both the sides to calm down the things.
Later in the evening Panda apologised before media for the delay in the event and rubbished all allegation against him.
