Bhubaneswar: Rain has created havoc in many parts of Odisha, there has been large scale damage to crops across various districts.
However, according to the latest bulletin of the regional Meteorological Centre situated here in Bhubaneswar the intensity of rainfall is all set to reduce in Odisha from today.
The weather update also said that, no major change in minimum (night) temperature will be experienced.
It is to be noted that, Southern Odisha is likely to experience rainfall activity from November 17.
On Saturday, a Low Pressure area had formed over south Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand coast under the influence of the cyclonic circulation.
The system is likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over north Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal by November 15.
It is likely to continue to move west–northwestwards, intensify further and reach near Andhra Pradesh coast around November 18, 2021, said IMD.
