We Believe In Work, Not In Words: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Chief Naveen Patnaik today said that his party believes in works and not in words.

While addressing his party leaders and workers on the occasions of the conch party’s success in the recently concluded Balasore and Tirtol by-elections, Patnaik said that his party always gives priority to works than mere words.

The BJD president also thanked the leaders and workers for putting all efforts to make the party’s candidates winners in both the seats. This apart, he advised them to work for the development of the people.

He also assured to fulfill all the assurances he made while seeking votes for his party candidates.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the ruling BJD wrested the Balasore assembly seat from the BJP and retained Tirtol in the bypolls held last week.

BJD candidate Swarup Kumar Das defeated his nearest BJP nominee Manas Kumar Dutta by a margin of 13,351 votes in Balasore assembly seat. Likewise, in the Tirtol assembly segment, BJD’s Bijay Shankar Das trounced BJP candidate Rajkishore Behera by a margin of 41,703 votes.
