Jajpur: In a shocking incident, a group of students along with a miscreant were seen thrashing a student with sticks in Jajpur district of Odisha recently. Someone had recorded the video which has gone viral.
As per reports, a few students of the Abhimanyu Samantasinghar College in Balia under Bari block of the district were coming in their bi-cycles when verbal spat arose with another group of students. Later it turned an ugly turn and the students thrashed a student on the road in broad day light with sticks.
At this moment, the victim student was also seen in the video trying to get help from a person who was then going on the road. The passer-by also tried to help him, but the students went on thrashing the student with sticks.
As of now no complaint has been filed in Ramachandrapur Police Station in Bari. However, the video has gone viral on social media.
