Sambalpur: A contractor today allegedly barged into the office of Vice Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) and ransacked the office.
As per reports the contractor identified as Ashok Mirdha barged into the VC’s office at around 11.30 am and created a ruckus over clearance of his pending bill. Later he ransacked the office and threw away the official files.
Police have detained Mirdha for further questioning. The incident has however raised questions on the security of the office as he managed to sneak through the security.
