Bhubaneswar: Voting for the fifth and final phase panchayat polls in Odisha began. The voting which began at 7 AM would continue till 1 PM.
As many as 41, 88, 382 voters will decide the fate of candidates in 131 Zilla Parishad zones in 25 districts of the State. There are 13514 booths in 975 panchayats under 48 blocks in the districts.
Out of the 13514 booths, 2027 booths are vulnerable booths.
The State Police has made elaborate security arrangements for the free and fair rural polls.
