“Vote for better India,” urges Manas Sahoo’s sand art in Puri

Puri: Internationally famed sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has made a sand sculpture to create awareness among people to make the proper use of one’s valuable vote in the forthcoming elections.

Manas has created a sand sculpture at Manas Sahoo Sand Art Park on the sea-beach situated at the Baliapanda Light House with the theme – “Vote for better India” – to create poll awareness among the voters.

“Though this art, I appeal people to realize the value of their votes and one should also vote and make a better India. People should vote the right candidate without getting influenced by any other factor,” said Sahoo while speaking to the newsmen.

“One should understand one’s duties and responsibilities towards the nation and help to build a strong and developed country by voting a right candidate,” he added.

It took nearly seven hours for the sand artist to erect the sand art which is of 20 feet in width. Around 15 tons of sand has been used to make the sand sculpture.
