Vigilance raid on BEO in Dhenkanal of Odisha
Today a short while ago, Santanu Kumar Mallik, BEO (Block Education Officer) Hindol in Dhenkanal has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance.
Hindol: Today a short while ago, Santanu Kumar Mallik, BEO (Block Education Officer) Hindol in Dhenkanal has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance.
Santanu was apprehended while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.10,000/- from a Complainant (Teacher) for release of his arrear salary pending on official ground.
The entire bribe money of Rs.10,000/- has been recovered and seized from exclusive possession of accused Mallik.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Mallik from DA angle.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance Case has been registered. Investigation is in progress against accused Mallik. Detailed report awaited.
