Vet Asst In Odisha Arrested By Vigilance On Bribe Charges

Nayagarh: Veterinary office attendant arrested on charges of asking and accepting bribe in the office of Bhapur Veterinary Centre in Nayagarh district of Odisha.

The attendant identified as Ananta Paikray has been caught red handed by officers of vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand).

The complainant Prahalad Chandra Nayak had been asked for a bribe in order to process subsidy for goat farm through Veterinary Surgeon in favour of the complainant.

The total tainted bribe money has been recovered from Paikray.
