Utkal University postpones +3 Fourth Semester Exam following heavy rain

Bhubaneswar: In line with the State Government’s order for the closure of all schools and colleges in the Twin City Cuttack and Bhubaneswar due to heavy rain on Saturday, the Utkal University authorities have also postponed the +3 fourth semester examination in degree colleges affiliated to it till next order.

As per a notification released by Pradeep Kumar Behera, Controller of Examinations, Utkal University on Saturday the +3 fourth semester Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) examination which was to be held on July 21 has been postponed.

The new date of the examination would be declared shortly, he added.

In a similar decision, the Odisha Higher Education Department has also extended the data updation and offline admission dates for degree and autonomous colleges in the state.

While the data updation date has been extended from July 21 to 24, the offline admission date has been extended till July 23, as per a notification released in this regard today.
