The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday released a notification in which it has invited applications from the aspirants for recruitment to vacant posts through the Civil Services Exam 2021.
The online registration started from today and will continue till March 24, 2021. It is to be noted here that the UPSC was slated to release the notification on February 10, 2021 as per the annual calendar. However, it canncelled.

UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2021 Vacancy Details
Civil Services (IAS) – to be announced
Total vacancy: 712 vacancies, which includes 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category, i.e. 5 vacancies for candidates of (a) blindness and low vision; 6 Vacancies for (b) deaf and hard of hearing; 6 Vacancies for (c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 5 Vacancies for (e) multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (c) including deaf-blindness.
Educational Qualification: The candidate who wants to appear the UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2021 Exam must have completed the degree from any Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions.
Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years. However, there will be relaxation for the candidates of reserved categories.
UPSC IAS Application Fee: While the female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates will not have to pay any fees while candidates coming in other categories will have to pay Rs 100 only.
