Keonjhar: Denizens of Anandapur block kept the local Dhakota market closed for second day in a row on Wednesday in demand for quick action against the muderers of Former Ghasipura Legislative Assembly Independent candidate Ramchandra Behera. Behera was hacked to death in cold blood on late Monday night.
Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik and senior Congress leader Jaydev Jena visited Behera’s family on Tuesday night and conveyed their condolences.

Reportedly, miscreants had called Behera from his Dharakote residence and then attacked him with sharp weapons. They hacked both of his hands and left him in bloodied condition.
