Rayagada: A father-son duo had allegedly gone missing while bathing in the Nagavali River in Rayagada on Sunday.
The mishap took place at Rayagada town while they were bathing near the suspension bridge at Chekaguda.
According to reports, the duo have been identified as K Trinath and K Srinivas. They were residents of Paralakhemundi town in Gajapati district.
Reportedly, both the duo were tourist and were carried away in the strong current of the Nagavali river as it was in full spate in the afternoon.
The police and fire personnel rushed to the spot and immediately initiated a search operation but in vain.
The search operation was still on while the report was filed. Further details are awaited in this regard.

The body of son has been recovered by fire services personnel from near Beheraguda while his father is still untraceable.
