Unique ways adopted in Ganjam of Odisha to check open defecation

Berhampur: No toilet (at home), No ration – this is the slogan the district administration of Ganjam has adopted lately to check open defecation.

The drive started with the distribution of basil plants and roses to people. The aim was to make them aware of open defecation. However, it was not sufficient. It was seen that people still were witnessed defecating openly by the sides of roads. Hence, the district administration came up with another unique way.
