Kendrapara: Body of an unidentified youth was found near Beruha village under Marshaghai police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Saturday morning.
According to reports, locals spotted the body near the connecting road of the village early this morning. The deceased was seen lying underneath a two wheeler bearing Regd No OR 04 G 1304.
On being informed, Marshaghai police reached the spot and rescued the body. Later, police sent the body to a hospital for autopsy test and began investigation into the matter.
“We are trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased. The cause of his death will be known once the post-mortem report would come,” police said.
However, locals suspected the incident to be a case of murder and staged demonstration for justice.
