Nayagarh: In yet another incident of undertrial escape in the State, a prisoner fled from Nayagarh Sub-Jail yesterday.
Identified as Himanshu Nayak the Undertrial Prisoner (UTP) was cooling his heels behind the bars in the jail following his arrest in connection with a dacoity case on July 7.
The incident came to light after the jail authority lodged a complaint at Nayagarh Sadar Police Station on later.
Police have started probe in connection with the incident and trying to trace the UTP. CCTV footages available with the jail authorities are being examined also.
