Uncle Accused of Impregnating Disabled Girl On Pretext Of Marriage In Odisha

Balasore: A 17-year-old differently-abled minor girl has alleged that her uncle was physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage in Balasore of Odisha.

The accused has been identified as Pradip Sethi.

According to reports, she was seven months pregnant with Pradip’s child. It has also been alleged that she was asked to abort the child when she informed about her pregnancy to the accused. She was threatened to be killed when she refused to abort her pregnancy.

Later, Pradip went absconding after she informed about the incident to her brother.

A complaint has been filed at Khaira police station by the victims’s brother.

The cops have detained Pradip’s father and initiated an investigation into the matter.
