Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here today after an unclaimed bag was found at Terminal number 1.
As per reports, the unclaimed bag was found in Terminal A when security had been beefed up as the Central team was arriving. The unclaimed bag was witnessed ahead of the arrival of the Central team. It had been left unattended. After the unclaimed bag was witnessed panic sparked amongst the passengers.
The authorities took all anti-bomb threat measures including deploying the dog squad.
Police have seized the bag.
