Two Snatchers Thrashed By Public In Odisha Village

Balasore: Two snatchers were thrashed by the locals of village under Rupsa police station limits in the district today.

Police said that the youths snatched away a bag containing Rs 20000 from one Ratnakar Behera. “The motorcycle in which they were escaping skidded and both of them fell on the ground. Later locals caught hold of them and thrashed them,” said a police official.

Police later rescued both the youths and admitted them at the nearest hospital for treatment. “Both of them admitted of snatching the cash bag. We are also trying to ascertain their identities,” added the police official.
