Mayurbhanj: Two minor boys drowned to death in a pond at Matakom Sahi of Jamudali village in Rairangpur block of Mayurbhanj district on Monday evening.
The deceased boys have been identified as Duluma Nayak (5) and Parbata Soren (5).
As per reports, the duo had gone to the pond for bathing and had accidentally slipped into deep waters which caused their death.
The incident came to light when the dead bodies were seen floating on the surface by a few locals.
A pal of gloom has descended on the village of the victims following the incident.
