Bhubaneswar: Two people died and another one sustained injuries in two separate road mishaps in the state capital today.
In the first incident, a couple was hit by a mini truck near Puri Canal under Mancheswar police limits leading to the death of the woman.
Police said that the deceased is yet to be identified. The husband of the deceased has also sustained severe injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a city-based private hospital.
In the second incident, a man was killed near Tankapani Road under Badagada police limits after a dumper hit a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle Bijay Jena died on the spot. Police have seized the dumper and have arrested the driver.
