Two killed after bike rams into truck in Nabarangpur

Umerkote: At least two youths were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on dashed against a truck from rear on Umerkote-Raighar road in Nabarangpur district last night.

The deceased victims have been identified as Manjit Bepari and Satyajit Sarkar of Badakumari village.

As per the report, the duo visited Durga Puja pandals in Umerkote last night and were on their way back to home when the mishap took place. Due to some reason Manjit who was driving the bike lost control over the wheels and ended up smacking into a truck from the back side. He died on the spot.

Satyajit sustained critical injuries in the crash and was taken to Nabarangpur DHH. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
