Two Including Doctor Injured After Being Shot At By Miscreants In Odisha

Khordha: Two persons including a doctor sustained bullet injuries after miscreants opened fire at them in a clinic in Khordha this evening.

The doctor identified as Manas Das, a paediatrician was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital from where he was shifted to a Bhubaneswar based private hospital.

As per reports, Das was examining patients at the clinic run by the owner of a medicine shop when two masked miscreants reached the spot and had an argument with the doctor. Later they fired at the doctor.

. “We heard gun shots and rushed to the spot. We found the doctor and medicine shop owner lying in a pool of blood,” said a local. The owner of the clinic identified as Krushna Chandra Sahu is also undergoing treatment.

Senior police officials along with SP Ajay Pratap Swain have rushed to the spot and have started an investigation.
