Khordha: Vehicular movement came to a halt after two elephants were spotted on NH-16 near Daleiput in Khordha district.
Both the elephants were crossing the roads from one end to the other causing vehicular movement disruption. the commuters were in panic state and were stranded for nearly an hour on the highway-16
Probably intimidated by a few cars right in front of it, they tried to chase them. Once those vehicles moved away slowly they tried to cross the road.No one has been hurt and no damage has been done by the elephants.
Later, the forest officials reached the spot and drove away the jumbos to the nearby Jariput forest.
