Balasore: Two drivers of two different trucks were killed and one person sustained critical injury as both vehicles collided head-on near Chhapolia Chhak on NH-16 under Soro police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district.
One of the deceased has been identified as Ratikanta Das of Jaleswar in the district, while the identity of other driver is yet to be established, police said.
The injured, identified as Seikh Sazat of Rajasthan, rushed to Soro hospital.
Onlookers said that the collision was so powerful that both vehicles were heavily damaged.
Meanwhile Soro police registered a case and started investigation in this connection.
