Two dreaded dacoits nabbed by police in Odisha’s Soro

Balasore: Two dreaded dacoits were arrested and loot items were recovered along with the motorcycles used in the loot by the Soro police on Monday.

The two accused have been identified as Gangadhar Majhi from Bhilla and Dilip Mallik from Madanpur.

As per reports, the burglars had looted items worth lakhs from an army officer on April 5. Gold ornaments, fridge, mixer-grinder, fan and other items in the house were stolen.

An FIR was lodged at Gopalpur police station. Station-in-charge Bansidhar Pradhan led the investigative team which nabbed the two dreaded dacoits.

Based on their investigation the two dacoits were arrested. It has come to fore that there are many robbery cases lodged against Majhi and Mallik.
