Dhenkanal: Two persons including a woman were killed after falling into a well at Guagoria village under Rasol police limits in Dhenkanal district today.
The deceased have been identified as Nalini Nayak and Akash Nayak. Eyewitnesses said that Nalini first fell into the well while drawing out water.
Later Akash who was present near the well jumped into it to save the woman. However, Akash also could not get out of the well. Locals informed the fire brigade which rescued both of them and rushed them to the District Headquarters Hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
