Berhampur: Two youths were killed after the bike in which they were riding on met with an accident near Punjikayan chhak under Digapahandi police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Bipun Gouda and Shankar Patra. They hailed from Maulabhananja village in Digapahandi area in the district.
According to reports, the duo was heading towards Berhampur when the rider lost control of the bike and rammed into the roadside wall near Southco office in the locality. Both sustained critical injury in their head.
The youths were immediately rushed to the community health centre in Digapahandi where the doctors declared them ‘brought dead’.
Digapahandi police registered a case of unnatural death and began investigation into the matter.
