Bhadrak: Dhamara police today arrested two persons for allegedly raping a minor girl in Dosinga area in the district.
Police said that the incident took place on Monday when the minor girl was returning home from market. “The accused forcefully took her in a motorcycle and raped her in a secluded place. They also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the matter,’ said a police official.
The victim however narrated her ordeal before her parents. Later the father of the minor girl lodged a police complaint on Tuesday. “We have conducted medical examination of the victim and the accused as well. Both the accused have been forwarded to the court,” added the police official.
