Twin City of Odisha reports 8 Covid positive cases on March 16

Bhubaneswar: Covid-19 cases in twin city of Odisha continues to be below 10 on March 16, 2022. Bhubaneswar has registered 8 Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) has recorded no covid cases.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 8 positive cases were registered today. All cases were local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,415. The recovered cases are 1,54,948. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 255.

In Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) no covid cases were reported.

The total cases in CMC are 56,022 while the total recovered cases are 55,567. Total Active cases are 26 while total deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 12 and 1 respectively.

Odisha reported below 100 Covid cases for the fifth consecutive day with 80 positives including 12 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Wednesday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,852.

Reportedly, among the 80 positives, 45 patients are in quarantine, and 35 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 750.
