Twin City Covid19 Update: Bhubaneswar and Cuttack report 120 and 13 cases respectively today

Bhubaneswar: As on November 7, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 120 new covid-19 positive cases. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 13 cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 120 positive cases detected today, 29 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 91. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 29.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 19,155 while the total recovered cases are 1, 15,923. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1060.  Active cases in the city are 2151.

Out of the total 13 cases registered in CMC on Sunday, 02 cases are from institutional quarantine, 03 cases are from home quarantine and 08 local contact cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,934 while the recovered cases are 44,249. The active cases today are 594.

Cuttack city has reported 27 recovered cases informed CMC while in Bhubaneswar 195 recovered cases were registered informed BMC today.

A total of 318 Covid-19 positive cases including 58 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,43,469 informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Sunday.
